The Office of Planning and Research (OPR) is the primary unit for activities relating to institutional planning and evaluation. In addition to providing information and data requests from both internal and external sources, this office prepares numerous reports which are required by state and federal agencies. A variety of student surveys are also conducted by the staff in order to provide timely information for program reviews and accountability measures and provides data and support as requested for grant seeking projects. This office also serves as the official liaison for PRCC with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
|Dr. Rebecca Askew serves as the Vice President for Planning and Institutional Research for the College. She had previously served as Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Guidance, and as Director of Guidance, Recruitment and Orientation. In her current position, she serves as the liason with the Southern Association for Colleges.She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, a Master of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling, and a Doctor of Philosopy Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Southern Mississippi.|
|Ms. Sharman Ladner has assisted Dr. Askew at PRCC since the beginning of her employment in November of 1988. She earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science from PRCC and has 20 years experience in the community college setting.|
|Ms. Brenda Wells serves as the Institutional Research Specialist for PRCC. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Technology Education and a Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology. She is now enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Higher Education Administration at the University of Southern Mississippi. Prior to her employment in the Office of Institutional Research, she was a high school instructor and an online instructor for PRCC.|
