The Office of Extended Education & Instructional Design strongly encourages every student to seek advisement before selecting online courses. Failure to seek advisement may result in removal from courses. In addition, the following may also result in removal from online courses.
- Students must satisfy all pre- or co-requisites for certain courses. See the PRCC Catalog for a complete listing.
- Adequate ACT scores must be on file before taking certain courses.
- A student cannot register for more than 21 total hours per term. If you request online courses that will put you over a TOTAL (the sum of your day, evening, and online courses) of 21 hours, your entire online registration will be denied. We highly recommend that you do not take 21 hours with some of them being online classes. Students who attempt this have a very low rate of success. Online courses take more time than traditional courses, not less.
- A hold in the Business Office or Registrar's Office will result in removal from online courses.
- You registered using your social security number rather than your PRCC ID.
Your registration will be discarded if you fail to adhere to the items above. A seat will not be held for you.
